Hey! That’s me in the picture. Tasha is my name and I am three years old. I’m a purebred German Shepherd because my parents were both purebreds. My dad was an American Shepherd and he was a big dog and I look just like mom, all black with white on the chest, it’s called the Tuxedo look. I’ve been with my human family since I was 10 weeks old. They are very good to me and give me everything I need.

There’s another dog that I share the yard with and that’s Spencer. He’s a basket case, always running and barking at noises. He says that he guards the yard from intruders. What do I care about the yard being intruded upon I’m here to protect my people who live inside the house. We get along good enough although, he thinks he’s Mister Hot Shot ruling the yard, but what he doesn’t know is that it’s my yard and he’ll follow my directions.

I also have to deal with that menacing house cat name Sassy. She just gets under my skin and I have to bark at her. My human mom tells me to stop barking all the time and I try to tell her that I’m protecting her from this awful cat, but she seems to think that there’s room for both the cat and me to live here. Someday, somehow I’m going to get rid of that cat.
